MoH sued for delaying health center project
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Following the failure of the completion of the project to demolish and rebuild the Fahaheel health center, after about 6 years on the signing the contract between the ministry and the contractor, the latter has filed a lawsuit for compensation against the Ministry of Health for failing to adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The sources told the daily the contractor had begun implementing the required works in 2013. The sources noted when the ministry demanded initial receipt of the building the latter made its observations on the project before receiving.
Sources pointed out that the most prominent observations were related to the electricity and air-conditioning and licenses required of Kuwait Fire Services Directorate and standards of the roofs and the heavy rains in the country last November, revealed the shortcomings which covered the vast areas in the building.
