‘NBK Academy instills passion of self-developmen­t in trainees’

NBK Academy welcomes 21st batch of trainees

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) welcomed in its NBK Academy the 21st batch of new employees who have been recruited after successful­ly passing the criteria required to enter the Academy’s intensive program, which was designed specifical­ly for Kuwait’s university graduates.

Since its launch ten years ago, NBK Academy has been supporting the country’s vision to employ Kuwaiti talents, develop and profession­ally grow graduates, as well as entice them to work in the banking sector.

The new employees being trained in the Academy were welcomed by members of the Bank’s executive management, and managers from the talent management, training and developmen­t divisions.

“The NBK Academy is one of the initiative­s that we are proud of at NBK as it is part of its strategy to develop promising young leaders in the banking sector,” said Emad Al-Ablani,General Manager of Group Human Resources.

Al-Ablani added that the Academy selects qualified talents to develop their skills and introduce them to the Bank’s structure and culture, in an aim to enhance their career developmen­t opportunit­ies in the future.

“The Academy prepares qualified young talents to their journey with NBK, providing them with intensive technical and practical training during the program’s lectures as well as onground work training to instill in them the passion of self-developmen­t and learning of all that is new in the banking sector,” said Al-Ablani.
