Commelina diffusa
Commelina diffusa, sometimes known as the climbing dayflower or spreading dayflower. It spreads diffusely, creeping along the ground, branching heavily and rooting at the nodes, obtaining stem lengths up to 1 metre. Flowers are bright blue with three petals and three yellow stamens. Flowering occurs during spring, summer and especially during autumn. The fruit (i.e. capsules) are about 5 mm long.
Site: Prefers bright indirect sunlight and high humidity.
Temperature: 50-75°F. Water: Keep the soil evenly moist and use warm water.
