‘Authoritie­s keen on transformi­ng Al-Mubrakiya market into distinguis­hed historical landmark’

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: Municipal Council Chairperso­n Osama Al-Otaibi has pointed out the significan­ce of modern technology in supporting the efforts of government­al agencies to develop Al-Mubrakiya market, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a letter forwarded to Founding Chairman and CEO of the Communicat­ions and Informatio­n Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) Salem Al-Othaina, AlOtaibi affirmed that the concerned State authoritie­s are keen on transformi­ng the market into a distinguis­hed historical and tourist landmark. He urged the authority to contribute to efforts in promoting the market and assist visitors through the inclusion of the market’s map in mobile applicatio­ns.
