Director General of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) Lieutenant General Khaled Rakan Al-Mikrad received in his office recently the Interim Secretary General of International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) Belkacem Elketroussi and the accompanying delegation.
According to a press release issued by KFSD, the purpose of the visit of the ICDO delegation was to attend the training exercise “Shamil 5”
During the meeting, the two parties discussed several important matters of mutual interest especially the membership of Kuwait in ICDO.
Several highranking officials were present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a prefabricated chalet in Naseem area. No casualties were reported.
According to a press release issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), when the Control Room of KFSD received information about the chalet on fire, firefighters rushed to the location with securitymen and paramedics and extinguished the fire within a short time.
Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
And, fire broke out in the moving anchor of the brine base in Sabah Al-Ahmad marine area in Fintas.
Firefighters rushed to the location after the Operations Unit at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate received information about the fire incident. They extinguished the fire in record time. No casualties or injuries were reported, only material losses.
