Sheikh Namer Al-Malej Al-Sabah will soon be appointed as undersecretary of the Oil Ministry as he passed the leadership test conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources.
Sources revealed Sheikh Namer served as assistant undersecretary in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for almost eight years, indicating his last post was Assistant Undersecretary for International Organizations and Foreign Trade.
The daily also found that the son of an incumbent National Assembly member was nominated as assistant undersecretary in a governmental institution, but he was not appointed as he failed the leadership test.
It is worth mentioning that the undersecretary post in the Ministry of Oil has been vacant for six years.
