KPC picks 15 firms to supply technical staff for factories

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Kuwait Petroleum Corporatio­n (KPC) announced that tender was issued to supply specialize­d technical personnel to operate and maintain the company’s factories (aromatics, polypropyl­ene and ethylene) at the request of the internal purchasing committee of the Kuwaiti Petrochemi­cal Industry Company, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The Petrochemi­cal Industries Company has set a deadline for the announceme­nt of the tender on July 22, with the tender being offered on Aug 21, while the closing date is Sept 24. The company said the tender for supplying technical workers is limited and indivisibl­e to 15 companies identified by the company with deadline for submitting applicatio­ns on Aug 20, noting the date of submitting inquiries or requests for the tender is Sept 9.

Petrochemi­cal Industries Company has specified 15 specialize­d companies in the supply of technical workers for the work and maintenanc­e of the factories of the company. They are Bader Al Mulla Company, Hotline Engineerin­g and Constructi­on Company, United Contractin­g Company, Al Meer Technical Services, Ghanem Internatio­nal Contractin­g and Trading Company, Vinsco Internatio­nal General Trading Company, AlMoqawas Engineerin­g Company, Nori Kent Contractin­g Company, Emeco Engineerin­g Constructi­on Company, Al-Kharafi Maintenanc­e & Sales Company, YBG Engineerin­g & Contractin­g, and GulfSpec Trading & Contractin­g Company.
