Al-Najat Charity team in Niger:

A delegation from Al-Najat Charity visited Republic of the Niger in West Africa to closely study the extent of suffering of the poor and needy.

According to a press release, the delegation, headed by Fahad Al-Beshara, intends to lay the foundation stone for establishi­ng a village with all necessary utilities. About 4,000 people are expected to benefit from this project.

The charitable project will be promoted by Al-Najat Charity on the Day of Arafat at 360 Mall in Zahra area.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Najat Charity Dr Rashid Al-Hamad said the sustainabi­lity report of 2018 showed the geographic extension of the charity’s activities that covered more than 40 countries.

He added that Najat Charity has become one of the most prominent Kuwaiti donor bodies keen on executing humanitari­an projects. He stressed that the charity group executed about 5000 projects in 2018 covering educationa­l, constructi­on and developmen­t projects.
