Four engineering students jointly win KFAS Award

Engineers Hamad Waleed Bin Hassan, Mohammad Al-Dalal, Ahmad Al-Dalal, Abdul-Aziz Al-Mazdi and Turki Mutlaq Al-Huraiji from the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering and Petroleum- Kuwait University jointly won the KFAS Award in the 36th Engineering Design Exhibition with a project titled “Traffic Plus”. The project was supervised by Dr Mohammad Al-Kanderi and Engineer Sarah Sweid.
The project aims to use artificial smart technology in regulating the traffic, which will help in reducing the rate of traffic congestion and enable ambulances to reach their destinations earlier than before. It will study the traffic situation on the traffic lights through which the artificial smart technology will learn how to solve the problem in the best way possible.
