Bahraini King hails HH the Amir’s supportive stances
King Hamad honors Kuwaiti envoy with Order of Bahrain of First Class
MANAMA, Aug 7, (KUNA): Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa praised on Tuesday His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s “genuine” and “supportive” position toward his country, official media reported Tuesday.
King Hamad also commended His Highness the Amir for his efforts to boost joint Arab action and serve and defend Arab interests, according to Bahrain News Agency.
The Bahraini King made his remarks while meeting the Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah.
He affirmed that the Kingdom holds the Kuwaiti leadership and people in high regard, the state-run news agency said.
Furthermore, the two sides reviewed the current state of their relationship and lauded its recent growth, progress, and development.
King Hamad later honored the Kuwaiti diplomat with the Order of Bahrain of First Class for his efforts in bolstering relations between the two countries.
