No distribution of farmlands in the border areas, says PAAAFR
DGCA denies reports on appointments
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 7: Chairman of Board of Directors of Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) Sheikh Mohammad Al-Yousef affirmed that the authority will not exceed the legal limits when it comes to distributing agricultural lands or livestock pens, reports Al-Anba daily.
He stressed that the head office of PAAAFR experienced a huge turnout of people applying for allocations of farmlands after an unofficial statement was posted on Twitter about distribution of farmlands in borders areas.
Sheikh Mohammad Al-Yousef lamented that citizens rushed to PAAAFR to register without first verifying the authenticity of the post, which was false.
Acting Spokesman of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Saoud Al-Mutairi said the directorate did not appoint new assistant undersecretaries recently, reports Al-Anba daily.
Speaking to the daily, Al-Mutairi clarified that the DGCA has given temporary assignments to a number of managers to carry out tasks in vacant sectors in addition to their current functions.
He stressed the need to verify information with the DGCA prior to the publication of any news about it.
