Pilgrims are set to start their pilgrimage rituals in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, as they flock to the plains of Mina, and prepare to head to Mount Arafat on Saturday.

Kuwaiti pilgrimage campaigns are providing facilitati­ons for about 9,500 pilgrims, including illegal residents in Kuwait, head of the Kuwait pilgrimage mission Fareed Emadi told KUNA on Thursday.

He added that the pilgrims of 52 Kuwaiti missions will head to Mount Arafat early Saturday after sleeping over in camps specially designed for pilgrims in Mina.

Meanwhile, he called on the pilgrims of to abide by the Saudi laws, noting that every individual must have a permit in order to perform their rituals. (KUNA)
