MoH, WHO completes preparations for opening of organization’s office

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 8: The Ministry of Health and World Health organization (WHO) have completed preparations recently for the opening of the organization’s office in Kuwait in September, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting reliable sources.

Sources revealed the two parties exchanged correspondences on the opening of the office that will reflect positively on the local health sector, including the decisions and regulations recommended by WHO to be in line with the policies of the ministry.

Sources affirmed the office is ready in terms of personnel and other preparations, indicating it will be located in the General Diwan of the ministry in Sulaibikhat. Sources added the regional office of the organization, which is located in Cairo, will appoint its representative at the Kuwait office soon.
