Passport hitch prevents family travel

‘Move to benefit consumers’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 8: A Kuwaiti family had to cancel their travel plans because the two-yearold daughter accompanying the family was barred from leaving the country, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, this happened because the family had earlier reported the loss of the girl’s passport but after they found it at home did not bother to inform the Ministry of Interior.

After arriving at the airport, the family was told that the girl cannot accompany other members on the trip to Europe.
