All set for final of first African Football Tournament in Kuwait

The final match of the first African Football Tournament in Kuwait is taking place today (Friday) at 5 pm at Mahboula’s sports ground between Sierra Leone and Malawi.

The tournament took unpredicted turn after Malawi managed to defeat the cup’s favorites, Ghana 2-1 while Sierra Leone booked place in the final after shootout win over Benin.

Today’s final between Sierra Leone and Malawi is expected to attract large number of spectators to witness the battle of African lions winding down the first African Football Tournament in Kuwait.

The tournament has relatively managed to achieve its objective

The tournament is a build-up to the African Talent Kuwait festival which will take place at the Safir Hotel in Fintas on Monday, Aug 12, featuring the culture and ‘Drums of Africa’. Tickets will be available at the entrance.
