Cigarettes auctioned:
The General Administration of Customs in Beit Al Mal in Al-Sulaibiya area held an auction Wednesday during which 3,760 cartons of cigarettes and other miscellaneous goods were sold for 33 thousand dinars, reports Al-Anba daily.
The auction committee refused to sell 3,717 cartons cigarettes because of the low price. The administration also cancelled the auction of the contents of some containers for the same reason and some of the contents were invalid and sent to concerned bodies for destroying them.
The sale was made in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 10 of 2003 on the Unified Customs System and the resolutions regulating it.
The auctioneer shall bear 2% commission on the sale price. The payment is
