Number of officials reshuffled

KIPIC appoints Hameed

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Regarded as the biggest reshuffle of officials at Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploratio­ns Company (KUFPEC) in years, acting CEO Sheikh Nawwaf Saoud Al-Sabah recently issued a circular on reshufflin­g a number of officials in line with the company’s strategy for 2040 to carry out new developmen­t and operating plans, reports Al-Rai daily.

The circular includes the appointmen­t of Nesma Alramdan as head of Exploratio­n Operations Team and changing the name of Europe and USA Sector to Europe and Africa Sector with Nawwaf Al-Salem as director.

This is in addition to changing the name of Southeast Asia Sector to Asia Sector with Badr Matar as director while Mohammad Al-Sabti will head the Southeast Asia Team. The head of West Asia and Middle East Team will be announced later.

Meanwhile, acting CEO of Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) Hatem Al-Awadi issued administra­tive circular number 21 for the year 2019 on the appointmen­t of Wael Hameed as head of the Safety Team reporting directly to the director of Health, Safety, Environmen­t, Security and Fire-fighting groups, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The circular included the appointmen­t of Hanan Badr AlQenaei as head of Health and Environmen­t Team while Yousif Shabaan Ghadanfour­i will head the Fire-fighting Team.
