Decomposed remains of Kuwaiti found in Ahmadi
Serial thief nabbed
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3: The partly decomposed remains of an unidentified Kuwaiti, which were found in one of the apartments in Ahmadi, have been referred to Forensics for an autopsy, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Kuwaiti was found dead in his bed and the corpse was discovered after the guard of the building complained of bad odor coming from the apartment. Police are probing the cause of his death.
Serial thief nabbed:
An unidentified Kuwaiti, who is in his 30s, has been arrested and referred to the Criminal Investigations Department for interrogation on the background of thefts committed in the Ahmadi Governorate in the suburbs of Jaber Al-Ali and Hadiya during the Eid Al-Adha holidays, reports Al-Anba daily.
The man is a prime suspect because he was caught driving a car with stolen number plates of a car belonging to a Kuwaiti who is receiving medical treatment outside Kuwait.
According to a security source the suspect has denied the theft charges but could not give reasons why he was driving a vehicle with stolen plates.
According to a security source, the theft of the plates was recorded by a CCTV camera.
Policeman attacked:
An individual has been arrested for attacking a policeman in Fintas area.
In a press release, the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media of Ministry of Interior explained that the suspect attacked the policeman using a sharp metal tool, resulting in two stab wounds. The suspect has been arrested and case No. 102/2019 has been filed against him for attacking a state employee on duty.
Pit Bulls stolen:
A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified person of stealing nine Pit Bull dogs from his house, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the suspect got into his livestock pen in Kabad by breaking the fence. It is also believed the thief is a professional and allegedly destroyed the CCTV camera before committing the crime
