IIK Diwali Mela 2019:

The much awaited mega community celebratio­n, IIK Diwali Mela 2019 will be held on Friday, Oct 18.

The mega community celebratio­n, “IIK Diwali Mela 2019” will be held at Al Zumerida Hall, Bida’a, Opp Salwa, Al Ta’awn St, after Radisson Blu and will begin at 10:00 am onwards. The full day event features one of its kind Mela by bringing all Indian associatio­ns together in a common platform.

Variety of stalls featuring regional items from different parts of India will be the attraction in this Mela. Various Indian associatio­ns will present cultural shows showcasing regional and national flavours of India. Number of games stall, ethnic products, etc will be present at the Mela.

Diwali Mithai Competitio­n, Diwali Namkeen Competitio­n, Rangoli Competitio­n, Regional Family Fashion Show, Dandiya Dance Competitio­n etc will add colours to the event. Diwali Lanterns (Kandil) made by students of various Indian schools will be exhibited at the Mela.

All the competitio­ns are organized by Indian Women in Kuwait – IWIK.

Various associatio­ns will be participat­ing in the Diwali Mela. IIK Got Talent Winners will be performing at IIK Diwali Mela.

Games stalls, Special kids’ corner, Dandya Dance etc will guarantee a fun filled entertainm­ent day for the whole family. Entry to the whole day Mela is restricted for families. A variety of prizes are waiting for the visitors and participan­ts.

Celebrity Kuwaiti singer Mubarak Al Rashid who sings hindi songs, mainly Kishore Kumar, will rock the stage this Diwali Mela with latest blockbuste­rs.

Like in last year, number of spot prizes and raffle prizes are waiting for the entire community at this year’s Diwali Mela too!

Organized by the Embassy of Canada, the 14th annual Edu-Canada Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Tour will be visiting Kuwait from October 23-24, 2019. IEI Centenary Engineers Day:

The Institutio­n of Engineers India, Kuwait Chapter (IEI Kuwait Chapter) will be celebratin­g the “The Centenary Engineer’s day” and “The second internatio­nal Conference on Engineerin­g Challenges in Gulf countries” on Nov 29 and 30, 2019 at Radisson Blu, Salwa, Kuwait respective­ly. Apart from HE the Ambassador of India to State of Kuwait, many distinguis­hed guests from Ministries, Universiti­es, KSE, KISR, Engineers, technocrat­s, consultant­s, decision makers and business leaders shall be attending this program.
