KFH launches program to qualify future leaders in digital banking
Two-year training program attracts top Kuwaiti graduates ABK hosts event for staff to mark World Diabetes Day
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has launched a training program to qualify and train future leaders in the field of technology, digital banking, products and technical developments in Fintech. This program is in line with KFH’s future orientations, reflects its interests and many successes in this respect and serves its plans and strategies to promote digitization in all its activities.
The trainees were selected from among the most distinguished Kuwaitis and the first graduates who have Technology degree.
With the participation of 11 outstanding young Kuwaitis, the program is the first of its kind in the banking sector in the GCC and the Middle East. To reiterate the importance of Early Diabetic Detection, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) recently hosted sessions for staff at its Headquarters in Kuwait. Through a series of engaging events and activities ABK encouraged dialogue in support of World Diabetes Day.

The employees participated in informative and interactive sessions that aimed not only to increase awareness of the dangers of diabetes, but encourage healthy habits to help combat the disease.
Through a series of interactive games, competitive activities and rewards, employees enjoyed a fun and educational day. To ensure continuation, staff were presented with special discounts for diabetes testing at Dalal Impact Co and Royale Hayat Hospital.

The program includes field training in KFH’s departments and subsidiaries, such as the award winning bank, KFH-Turkey which has gone a long way in developing many tech innovations, products and services. The trainees will also visit global companies such as Microsoft, Facebook, Tesla, Apple and other world renowned leading brands in the field of technology and electronic services.
Group Chief Human Resources officer at KFH, Frederick Carstens, said that KFH is keen to train and develop its employees, especially the young Kuwaiti talents through such a program which is designed to suit the digital transformation phase that KFH is going through.
He explained that the strategic objective of such KFH training programs is to raise the employees’ level of performance to keep up with international standards and provide them with the expertise, skills and knowledge regarding the advanced banking system, adding that these programs enrich the experience of the employee, and raise the leadership spirit of the young Kuwaiti.
