HH Amir congratulates Oman, Latvia on national days
Speaker sends cable of congratulations to Oman on nat’l day
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent, Sunday, a cable to the Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said, congratulating him on his country’s national day.
His Highness the Amir expressed in the cable his deepest wishes of progress and development for Oman’s leadership and people.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables.
The Sultanate of Oman is set to celebrate its 49th National Day on Monday, Nov 18, as the country sees development measures on all levels. On this day, Omanis gather to express their love and appreciation for Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who put great efforts to develop the country in all sectors despite challenges.
The Omani government is exerting huge efforts to protect peace and stability of the Gulf and the Middle East regions.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Sunday a cable of congratulations to Latvia’s President Egils Levits on his country’s national day.

Furthermore, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim sent Sunday cables of congratulations to the Chairman of the Council of State of Oman Yahya Al-Manthari and Shura Council Chairman Khaled Al-Mawali on the occasion of the Sultanate’s National Day.
