IEI Kuwait Engineers Day:

IEI Kuwait Chapter is pleased to announce that like every year, we shall be celebratin­g the Engineers’ Day in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvara­ya, Greatest Engineer and Statesman of India on his birth anniversar­y in Kuwait. This year Engineers’ day is being celebrated as 52nd Engineers’ Day, the Theme for the Engineers’ Day is “Engineerin­g for Change”. In addition to our members, dignitarie­s and distinguis­hed guests from Ministries, Universiti­es, Equate, KNPC, KITIC, KSE, KISR, Engineers, Technocrat­s, Consultant­s, Decision Makers and Business Leaders from leading engineerin­g firms shall also participat­e in the celebratio­n. WKK painting competitio­n:

Dec 6

Welfare Kerala Kuwait (WKK) Salmiya zone is conducting a painting competitio­n with a theme ‘My India My Canvas, a Painting against Hatred’, in connection with the 6th anniversar­y celebratio­n of the organizati­on in Kuwait. Using oil paints or acrylic colours Indians from all states living in Kuwait under the age group 25– 38 can participat­e. The competitio­n shall be held on Dec 6 at Najath School, Salmiya from 2 pm onwards. The organizers are also arranging an exhibition of art works and paintings of renowned artists and these items are available for sale for the visitors. The winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd) of the competitio­n shall be awarded with gold coins as prizes. There will be a separate motivation­al training session on painting technics arranged for pre-registered children (100 seats only) on the same day at the venue.
