Indian association Pravasi Legal Cell inaugurates Kuwait Chapter
Forum aims to empower people on legal front
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Duaij Khalifa Al Sabah, Consultant – Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Europe Affairs department – State of Kuwait, inaugurated the Kuwait Chapter for Pravasi Legal Cell on Dec 3 at Al Hamra Hotel – Kuwait. Jose Abraham, Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India being the Global President of Pravasi Legal Cell was the Chief Guest of the PLC Kuwait Chapter inaugural function. His Excellency was accompanied by his consultant Waleed Al-Failkawi and Business Manager Khalid Al Muthairi. PLC Kuwait Chapter General Secretary Biju Stephen welcomed the audience. Head of PLC Kuwait Chapter and member of Loka Kerala Saba – constituted by the government of Kerala presided over the function and explained the importance of Pravasi Legal Cell and its chapters in different countries. Currently PLC having chapters in different countries and state of India. Now as a forum for the legal support, PLC assists Pravasis in abroad. Dignitaries from both Indian community and Kuwait community participated in the inaugural event of PLC Kuwait Chapter.

The event was filled with a small but posh musical segment by Mahesh Ayer, Dr Susovana, Prathap Mannar, Miss Ahalya Meenakshi, Dr Ayoub and Kuwaiti violinist Abdul Aziz. During the event, HE Sheikh Duaij Al Sabah presented mementos to the sponsors of the event and for the artists.
The entire event was coordinated by the PLC – Kuwait Chapter Treasurer and Program Convenor Mrs Shiny Frank. Chapter coordinator Anil Moodadi delivered vote of thanks.
