Ministry of Interior celebrates ‘Arab Police Day’
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: Ministry of Interior celebrated the “Arab Police Day” on Wednesday, Dec 18 at Sa’ad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, under the auspices of the Undersecretary Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham.
In a press release issued by the Department of Public Relations and Security Media on behalf of the Undersecretary, he said marking the day was an affirmation of full support and care for security operatives in appreciation for their concerted efforts to maintain law and order.
Lieutenant General Al-Naham assured that the officers have always been at alert and will sustain the same tempo against all challenges, stressing that they are capable of withstanding problems and difficult situations to ensure national stability.
Director of Public Relations and Media Department in Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) Brigadier Khalil Al-Amir revealed that various firefighting centers dealt with 130 reports and 90 cases for rescue on the roads, reports Al-Anba daily.
He praised the efforts exerted by all firefighters and their response with all the reports.
Director of Operations at the General Fire Service Department Colonel Mishari Al-Fors stated the department until 7:00 pm on Monday received 34 reports from various governorates during the rainfall concerning six fire incidents, 14 sinking cars with people, 6 disrupted elevators, five complaints of indoor flood, and two reports of evacuation.
