Gulf Bank celebrates success of employees at IBS ceremony

28 staff advance careers through various training programs

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Gulf Bank celebrated the success of its employees at the annual Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony, which was held at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, celebrated 28 Gulf Bank employees who completed specialist banking courses at IBS during 2018-2019. The ceremony was sponsored by His Excellency Dr Mohammed Al-Hashel, Governor of Central Bank & Chairman of IBS, as well as Dr Yaqoub Al-Rifai, IBS Director General, and Ms Suha AlAwadhi, the Head of the Training Department at IBS.

Institute of Banking Studies awarded various certificat­es to Gulf Bank’s employees, marking the completion of a wide range of programs, including the Certified Credit Management (CCM), Certified Bank Branch Manager (CBBM), Certified Assistant Bank Branch Manager programs (CABBM), Certified Bank Branch Operations Manager (CBBOM), Strategic Management Performanc­e System (SMPS) Certificat­e, and SHRM Essentials Certificat­e.

Commenting on the event, Ms Salma Al-Hajjaj, General Manager of Human Resources at Gulf Bank, said: “In celebratin­g the accomplish­ments of Gulf Bank as a whole, it is more important than ever to recognize the magnificen­t achievemen­ts of our employees as individual­s. We are proud to demonstrat­e our long-term commitment to each and every one of our employees, as it is only when we realize our full potential as individual leaders that we can excel as a group.
