Ezzllah wins 1,200 meter horse race

Bulldozer trounces competitors in 2000-meter event

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: The horse “Ezzllah” from Al-Mulla Stable and ridden by Igor was declared champion of the Hunting and Equestrian Club’s Category A, after finishing the 1,200-meter event within 1:13:01 minutes.

In second place was the horse “Al-Ashras” from Al-Da’iya stable, followed by the horse “Zaboun Al-Hard” from Al-Mulla Stable and ridden by Al-Saffar in third place.

After the competition, a board member of the club Sa’adoun Al-Otaibi presented the trophy to the champion, and medals to the first and second runners-up, and he congratulated their stables.

Coach of the winning stable Mahmoud Al-Mulla expressed joy over the unique attainment, saying winning the first and third positions affirms the level of preparedness, and promising not to relent against future competitions.

In the 1,400-meter event, the horse “Meghyash” from Abu Sheiba Stable excelled by coming first within 1:28:07 minutes, followed by the horse “Alaa” from Keifan Stable and the horse “Regent” from Al-Sorour Stable in second and third positions respectively.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Fahad presented the trophy to the winner along with kind words of congratulations.

Meanwhile, the horse “Bulldozer” owned by Mohammad Al-Hamdan trounced his competitors in the 2000-meter event by covering the distance within 1:43:05 minutes. In the second position was “Al-Sharq” horse from Al-Marekhi Stable, followed closely in the third position by the horse “Ghlab”.

The trophy was presented to the winner by Chairman of the club Talal Al-Nisf, supported by Sultan Al-Othab.
