KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Actor and director Mohammad Al-Hamly participated in a national community campaign to fight the spread of COVID-19, by creating an awareness flash titled “Please stay home” produced by “Backstage Group”, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

He invited everyone to abide by the recent decisions of the Cabinet and the health authorities especially to stay at home, and avoid gatherings and visits in order to avoid the spread of the infection and pave way for controlling the most dangerous virus globally.

Al-Hamly said, “We are all partners in this country, and it is our duty to provide real examples in preserving its safety. When we see the sacrifices made by those in the frontiers to confront the coronavirus outbreak, we must provide protection for them by adhering to their directives and staying at home.

They are working in hospitals and on the streets for our protection, and the least we can do is stay at home”.

He indicated that the awareness flash is a brief show that calls for adherence to the requests of the concerned authorities in the country, and avoid rumors and fake news that give rise to panic and contribute to instability in this critical phase not only for Kuwait but the entire world.

Moreover, actor Ibrahim AlSalal expressed resentment over the attitude of some people who do not respect his experience spanning over more than 40 years in the artistic industry, reports Al-Anba daily.

He indicated that he opted not to participate in any artistic works and instead stay at home.

Al-Salal revealed that he received a call from the producer of a series who bargained with him about his wages “as though he doesn’t know my history”.
