Ahmadi governor visits checkpoints in curfew
KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah conducted an inspection tour of a number of security checkpoints in many areas of Ahmadi Governorate with the aim of determining the commitment of citizens and residents to the partial curfew imposed by the state recently as a precautionary measure to confront the coronavirus outbreak.
According to a press release, the governor, during the tour, listened to strong praises by the security forces about the commitment of citizens and residents to the curfew, which is mainly aimed at preserving their health and the health of the society.
The tour included the security checkpoints points in Ahmadi city, in South Sabahiya on King Fahd Expressway, at the roundabout of Mangaf tunnel and at the entrance to Abu Halifa area on the coastal strip.
The governor said the efforts exerted by security officials of Ahmadi Governorate to enforce the curfew are appreciated by all, calling for enforcement of the law on everyone without exception.
He thanked and appreciated the efforts of all security officers of Ministry of Interior in the State of Kuwait particularly in Ahmadi Governorate.
Sheikh Fawaz said, “We are confident that Kuwait, with the cooperation of its loyal children and the correct procedures that the international community praises, will successfully overcome this crisis. May Almighty Allah protect Kuwait from all harm and misfortune!”
