Ahmadi governor visits checkpoint­s in curfew

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah conducted an inspection tour of a number of security checkpoint­s in many areas of Ahmadi Governorat­e with the aim of determinin­g the commitment of citizens and residents to the partial curfew imposed by the state recently as a precaution­ary measure to confront the coronaviru­s outbreak.

According to a press release, the governor, during the tour, listened to strong praises by the security forces about the commitment of citizens and residents to the curfew, which is mainly aimed at preserving their health and the health of the society.

The tour included the security checkpoint­s points in Ahmadi city, in South Sabahiya on King Fahd Expressway, at the roundabout of Mangaf tunnel and at the entrance to Abu Halifa area on the coastal strip.

The governor said the efforts exerted by security officials of Ahmadi Governorat­e to enforce the curfew are appreciate­d by all, calling for enforcemen­t of the law on everyone without exception.

He thanked and appreciate­d the efforts of all security officers of Ministry of Interior in the State of Kuwait particular­ly in Ahmadi Governorat­e.

Sheikh Fawaz said, “We are confident that Kuwait, with the cooperatio­n of its loyal children and the correct procedures that the internatio­nal community praises, will successful­ly overcome this crisis. May Almighty Allah protect Kuwait from all harm and misfortune!”
