Mass streaming: The Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia Parish has announced that there will be live streaming of the Holy Masses in English from Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City during these days of coronavirus situation until further notice. There should be not more than 5 persons including the celebrating priest. All are requested to stay at home and participate in the Holy Mass with due preparations:

KFAS Academy free online courses: KFAS Academy — a fully-owned subsidiary of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) — announced it will be offering their full line of their Higher Education online courses for free throughout the current school closure period in Kuwait. The decision came about to help minimize the effect of school closure on the learning journey of University students and high-school students getting ready to enter Universities.
The courses covering Maths Placement test, Pre-Calculus, Biology and English Vocabulary Enrichment will all be offered for free as long as school closure is in effect. Students are welcome to simply access the Academy’s website (www.kfasAcademy.com) and sign up to enroll in the courses.

Ethnic Food Fest postponed:
Due to the prevailing situation related to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to support the government’s preventive initiatives in this regard,
Maurya Kala Parisar has postponed its 7th Ethnic Food Festival, which was scheduled to be held on April 10. A new date for the event would be advised in due course. The Visits Department is pleased to invite you to visit the Grand Mosque, which is one of Kuwait’s most treasured religious and cultural landmarks to discover the beauty of Islamic arts and architecture. Free guided tours are available all year round on official working days between (9-11 am) and (5-7 pm), within a special tour program designed to cater to the needs of different age groups. The program is as follows:
Reception; Auditorium show; (according to age group); Touring the Mosque; Q & A; Art workshops; (according to age group – between 5 and 18 years old); Snack break; Distribution of the Grand Mosque publications and souvenirs; End of tour. According to these age groups: Age group: 5 to 9 years old: Morning: 60 visitors max; Evening: 20; 10 to 15 years: Morning: 100 visitors max; Evening: 45; 16 and above: Morning: 140 visitors max, Evening: 105:

Foods and drinks are not allowed inside the prayer halls.
For school visits, teachers are responsible for their students and are required to cooperate with the staff members of the Grand Mosque.
Photography is allowed inside the Grand Mosque (please note that disrespectful poses are strictly prohibited).
