KUWAIT CITY, April 20: Despite the total lockdown in Mahboula, everything is going on as usual although life is moving slowly and residents go about their daily activities before the partial curfew, while governmental and private agencies are working hard to provide the needs of the entire area, reports AlRai daily.

When the daily visited the area recently, they witnessed the tireless work of the head of the National Guard in the field hospital which started receiving patients more than three days ago. The hospital provides all the necessary primary health services in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. The Dental, Radiology and Emergency Clinic is also operating to check the health condition of patients.

In addition, the field hospital has four beds for observation of patients, a respiratory disease ward and an internal medicine ward. Work is underway to install medical equipment and the National Guard teams supervised the completion of the quarantine center at the hospital.

Moreover, the hospital provides services to Mahboula residents free of charge. Two suspected cases of coronavirus infection were monitored and two others were referred to Jaber Hospital for further tests.

On the security level, the Ministry of Interior tightened security, organized the entry and exit procedures for authorized individuals, and ensured smooth flow of traffic. Water tanks and food trucks are allowed to enter the area as they provide food, health and other commodities to the residents.
