‘2 schools equipped to accommodate over 620 workers of Al-Rawda and Hawalli Co-op Society’

KUWAIT CITY, April 20: ViceChairman of the Board of Directors of Rawda and Hawalli Cooperative Society Meshaal Al-Omran stated that two schools have been equipped with all living necessities to accommodate employees and workers in the society, adding adequate housing is provided to more than 620 employees and 243 volunteers with the formation of volunteer teams for each market and branch amid direct follow-up of work by the Board of Directors, reports Al-Anba daily.
He added the number of volunteers from the region has reached 243 and they are above 21 years old with competencies, experience and certificates, and well trained to deal with various events in society and to provide distinguished services for shoppers, in addition to home delivery, taking temperature, organizing queue, and making sure that people follow precautions.
Al-Omran commended diligent duty carried out by the executive management in Rawda and Hawalli Cooperative Society with the support of volunteers being with them around the clock due to the emergency situation in the country in order to provide the general requirements and services.
He explained that two schools were equipped with all living and necessary supplies in Rawda and Hawalli to house employees and workers of the society to provide better service, based on the recommendations of competent authorities in the country.
For his part, Treasurer Khaled Al-Matn affirmed that the services of preparing and furnishing the two
schools with all requirements of life required are aimed at the convenience of workers and volunteers.
Al-Matn praised the level of cooperation of competent authorities and their great role in working with the Board of Directors hand in hand to serve Kuwait, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Kuwait Municipality, volunteers and companies sponsoring delivery services amid the efforts of all honest and loyal workers. He assured the society will continue to work to serve Kuwait and its valued shareholders.
He explained the society’s management turned into working cells and have been holding meetings to follow up developments at first-hand, with clear coordination between the various departments to attain full services in Rawda and Hawalli Cooperative Society, while adhering to all the guidelines and laws of competent authorities in the country. He stressed that efforts of the executive management, volunteer teams and workers in the first grades are ongoing around the clock without fatigue.
Al-Matn emphasized the provision of services and their delivery for free, which includes all branches. It covers the main society’s supermarket, pharmacy, perfumes, cosmetics, vegetable branch, family supplies, electricity and publishing services, maintenance services, health and air conditioning, all of which operate and provide delivery service during the ban period.
