KUWAIT CITY, April 23: Ministry of Interior has referred a Kuwaiti citizen to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action after he attacked a police officer and started a fire while in police custody, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the unruly behavior of a citizen, securitymen rushed to the location. When they asked him for his civil ID, he refused to cooperate and attacked an officer, causing an injury.
The suspect was controlled by the remaining officers who took him to the police station of the area. The suspect started a fire at the police station, resulting in three officers suffering from smoke inhalation. Firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire. Paramedics referred the three officers to the hospital for treatment.
The officer who was attacked by the suspect filed a case against him and submitted a medical report to indicate the injury he sustained from the attack.

Indian falls to death:
The Public Prosecutor has ordered the referral of the corpse of an Indian to Forensics medicine to indentify the cause of death, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Indian who is in his 30s allegedly fell to his death, but the authorities have not ruled out foul play.
As a precautionary measure, 6 compatriots sharing the apartment with him in Bneid Al Gar are being interrogated.
According to a security source the victim was taken to the Amiri Hospital his clothes soaked in blood which was caused by a deep cut on the head and the wound needed eight stitches. However, the Indian died as a result of the injury.
