Ministry warns violators of partial curfew
KUWAIT CITY, April 25: The Ministry of Interior has called on the citizens and residents to cooperate and implement preventive measures issued by the health authorities to limit the spread of the new coronavirus, reports Al-Anba daily.
The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media stated that the partial curfew decision includes territorial waters, chalet areas and agricultural holdings, in addition to residential areas.
It was noticed recently that some citizens and residents violate the partial curfew and use these places designated for walking inside residential areas which start from five in the evening until six in the morning the next day.
The ministry said this is in violation of the ministerial decisions and exposes the violators to legal accountability.
The ministry also called on those who visit chalets and farms not to move in any way, whether walking from one location to another, walking on the beach, or riding ATVs and the like, stressing the need to adhere to the partial ban decision.
The ministry added that the General Administration of the Coast Guard of the border security sector is following the application of the partial curfew law in the Kuwaiti regional waters, and it has monitored some citizens who rented boats and organized picnics, while the instructions of the health authorities are clear that they must stay indoors and not go out except in cases of extreme necessity.
