NBK increases the number of its operating branches to 17

‘To satisfy our customers’ needs’

KUWAIT CITY, April 25: Since the beginning of the health crises, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has committed to remaining at the service of its customers by providing its services without interrupti­on through various channels that included 9 operationa­l branches. NBK is now increasing the number of operationa­l branches from 9 to 17.

These 17 branches will provide services during the Holy Month of Ramadan from 10 am until 1 pm. Nine of these branches will serve individual­s and Corporate Banking Customers and these comprise: Abdullah Al Ahmad (previously head office), Cinema Al Salmiya, Ahmed Al Jaber, Sabah AlSalem, Al Andalus, Ahmadi, Hawalli, Saad Al Abdullah and Al Salam Mall – Salmiya. The rest of the branches will only serve individual customers and they are: Mishref, Kaifan, Surra, Mubarak Al Kabeer, Al Rehab, Hadiya, AlDaiya and Shamiya.

The bank is also taking precaution­ary measures to ensure the safety of customers and employees, and will be measuring the temperatur­e of customers whom will also be asked to wear face masks and gloves before entering any of the operating branches. The number of customers allowed inside each branch is also limited, while safe distances are mandated and supervised as per the preventati­ve and health guidelines issued for social distancing and the safety of everyone.

Commenting on the expansion in the number of operating branches, Head of Local Branches at National Bank of Kuwait, Ghadeer Al-Awadhi, said: “Since the beginning of the global health crisis, we have endeavored to remain close to our customers by all means and provide them with all the support to meet their needs, while ensuring taking precaution­ary measures to facilitate the completion of banking transactio­ns. We have therefore increased today the number of operating branches in order to serve our customers with the best banking services no matter the circumstan­ces.”

Al-Awadhi added: “We are committed to satisfying the needs of our customers whether through our operating branches or other channels while abiding to the highest standards of security and safety within each branch in order to safeguard the safety of our employees and customers.”

She encouraged customers to benefit from the easy and fast services that are available at their convenienc­e and at any time of the day through NBK Mobile Banking and NBK Online Banking. Customers do not need to visit the branch under the current circumstan­ces thanks to

these two services.

Al-Awadhi concluded by saying: “We hope everyone remains safe and healthy and that the current situation comes to an end at the earliest. We take this opportunit­y to also congratula­te everyone on the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, may God bless everyone.”

The bank is also ensuring that customers who are outside of Kuwait continue to benefit from its banking services without interrupti­on. Customers with an expiring NBK Credit or Debit Card within a month can call the dedicated numbers and request delivery of the renewed cards to them wherever they are in the world.

NBK continues to offer its banking solutions to customers through its various channels. They can manage their accounts and make transactio­ns at their convenienc­e and at any time with NBK Mobile Banking and NBK Online Banking. During this period as well, the bank continues to provide its banking services through the ITM located at Terminal 4 inKuwait Internatio­nal Airport. NBK’s ATMs and CDMs also remain at the service of customers across Kuwait thanks to a network of 327 ATMs, including more than 100 CDMs. Customers can also connect with NBK on its many platforms that include the NBK Contact Center and NBK WhatsApp at 1801801, as well as through its social media platforms where all inquiries are answered.
