Social fund launched

-

The COVID-19 crisis has resulted in the loss of jobs and major salary cuts across the world, and this has caused deep mental stress amongst people. In light of the world’s current situation, Global Affiliate Network Admitad has launched a ‘Social Fund’ support program that will aid employees’ whose parents or spouses were left with no income due to the pandemic. As an organization that values employee morale and recognizes that this is one of those times where they need to focus on keeping spirits high and motivating their staff, Admitad has allocated $300,000 to help their teams worldwide push through these difficult times.

The initiative to launch this Social Fund within Admitad was decided after taking into account the results of an in-house survey amongst their employees to gauge emotional comfort during remote-working, in which 20% of their staff confirmed going through mental stresses due to financial losses that their families have had to suffer during the crisis.

“During such an uneasy time we decided not only to maintain the salary level for all the employees, but also to care about their psychological health. It is hardly possible to concentrate on work when your family members are faced with challenges, including the financial ones. That is why we took a very important step further to create this fund. We greatly value the human resources we have and are inclined to think that such a small contribution will help the employees deal with this crisis and overcome that successfully” - commented the CEO and Founder of Admitad, Alexander Bachmann.

The Social Fund will provide a compensation of $1,000 to each of the parents/spouses of Admitad employees that have been left with no income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to simplify the process, employees will be able to easily avail this facility after filling up a short questionnaire and doing a follow-up review of the information by the company. The Social Fund will be operational between the periods of May 1st 2020 - August 1st 2020, and will be accessible to over 600 Admitad employees across its global offices in Germany, India, UAE, Russia, Brazil, Ukraine, Belarus and China.
