The supervisory team at the Audit and Services Follow-up Department in Ahmadi Governorate shut down 21 stores found to have violated health regulations; thereby, endangering public health and safety, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Director of the department Saad AlShaiba disclosed the team carried out inspection campaigns in stores, parallel markets and commercial complexes to ensure strict compliance with regulations on the operation of these establishments, advertisements and health measures like wearing gloves, masks and physical distancing. These campaigns resulted in the issuance of 195 citations and 158 warnings.
