Mughal Mahal honors frontline ‘pandemic’ workers

-

The ‘Mughal Mahal’ restaurant in Sharq honored frontline workers who made sacrifices to fight the corona pandemic to protect the lives of everyone living in Kuwait by making a commemorative mural with their pictures on the restaurant’s façade, reports Al-Rai daily.

The ceremony was attended by former minister Khaled Al-Juman, Professor Hussein Dashti, the head of the respiratory unit at Jaber Hospital, Dr Alia Ibrahim, the ENT specialist at Al-Jahra Hospital, Dr Broksy, Brigadier Ibrahim Al-Sahli, and a large number of doctors and officials.

The ceremony was also attended by the new Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sibi George.

In turn, Dr Alia Ibrahim expressed indescribable happiness and said this “motivates us to offer more and with greater strength,” and said “the responsibility for the spread of the disease is not individual, but communal”.

For his part, ‘Mughal Mahal’, partner Ashok Kalra said the artwork was to thank all those who worked in the front lines – personnel from the Interior Ministry, the Health Ministry and the Fire Department, who spend their lives to save all those who live on the land of Kuwait.
