Officers bailed Violations on rise

-

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The number of traffic violations has increased again after witnessing weeks of decline which, the security authorities say, was a result of partial and total ban imposed by the government to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, reports Al-Anba daily.

Last week, the traffic sector, headed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Operations and Traffic Affairs, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, said about 25,000 citations were issued in all governorates of Kuwait, topped by the Capital governorate with 5,528.

Officers on bail: The Public Prosecution has released of two state security personnel (colonels) on 5,000 dinars bail each and has slapped a travel ban on them, until investigations into the case are completed, reports Al-Anba daily.

The security services had referred the two officers to the Public Prosecution Office following leaks of the audio recordings of interrogations of the State Security Department in the social media.
