12 graders results to be out soon

Several govt institutio­ns move to provide e-services

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: The results of the 12th graders will be ready this Friday, and the distributi­on of their certificat­es will take place next Sunday, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable sources from the educationa­l sector.

Meanwhile, they revealed that the school administra­tions have started issuing results for the 12th grade students in both academic sections – science and arts, indicating that the students can access their grades via the ministry’s portal based on their seat number, as soon as the grades are uploaded.

The sources said the examinatio­n control center in the ministry is scheduled to carry out final calculatio­ns and verificati­on of the grades attained during the supplement­ary second semester, which will be released once the approval process is completed by the concerned authoritie­s.

They affirmed that the school administra­tions have exerted tremendous efforts to enter the grades and review them in a record time.

The sources indicated the people working in this field have succeeded greatly in implementi­ng the distance education system, which was applied for the first time in the history of education in Kuwait.

They said, “Despite the modest capabiliti­es and strenuous circumstan­ces, the school administra­tions rose to the occasion, sailing through challenges, and safely docking. The educationa­l bodies relied on themselves and were able to achieve the desired objectives”.

The sources stated that the examinatio­n control center for science and arts sections is ready to review and verify the grades before the official approval.

They added that the acting Undersecre­tary of the Ministry of Education Faisal Al-Maqsid and the Assistant Undersecre­tary for Public Education Affairs Osama Al-Sultan are continuing with their efforts in securing and providing suitable conditions for employees in the examinatio­n control center to perform their duties to the fullest.

Meanwhile, a government document revealed that several government­al institutio­ns have started to develop, strengthen and accelerate their digital transforma­tion in a bid to provide services to citizens and residents electronic­ally, reports AlAnba daily.

The daily obtained a copy of the document stating that five government­al institutio­ns provide 221 electronic services to citizens and residents as follows: Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), Public Institutio­n for Social Security (PIFSS), General Administra­tion of Customs, and the Expropriat­ion Department.
