Graduates from Polish academy honored

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 22: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anas Khaled AlSaleh received in the presence of Lieutenant-General Essam Salem Al-Naham, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Major-General Nasser Boursli, Director-General of the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences and BrigadierGeneral Ali Jassim Al-Waheeb, Deputy Director-General for Academic Affairs at the academy, a new group of 18 officers who graduated from the Polish Naval Academy and an electrical engineering officer who graduated from the US Florida International University, reports Al-Anba daily.
Speaking on the occasion AlSaleh congratulated the new graduates, saying “I congratulate you for the honor of joining the military service, joining your colleagues and obtaining certificates from European and American universities, and particularly the honor of joining the border sector (the General Administration of the Coast Guard).”
He went on to say, “I pray to God to grant you success in this great task, and we ask Almighty God for a speedy recovery of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, and to bring him back to us safe and well.”
The graduates have expressed their thanks and appreciation to the minister and all security leaders, stressing that they will live up to the expectations of senior officials, and that they will do what they can for the sake of the homeland’s prosperity, security and its territorial integrity.
