Coptic Orthodox Church grieves late Amir
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: The Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church in Kuwait shared the country’s grief over the death of the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, reports Al-Jarida.
As a mark of respect for the great humanitarian leader the façaKUde of the church was adorned with pictures of HH the late Amir.
One of the captions on the picture read, ‘Your Highness, history will immortalize what you have done, taught and what your hands gave’.
“He still lives in the hearts of many. He may be no longer among us but he is still there in our thoughts or our hearts. Kuwait is full of wise men able to continue the march of love and peace,” read a statement from the church.
