Citizens, residents pay ‘glowing’ tributes to late Amir at his grave

‘We will not forget you Amir of Humanity’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: Citizens and residents flocked to the Sulaibikha­t cemetery Friday, to pay their last respects to the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, we pray to God Almighty to give him eternal rest, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The visitors read verses from the Holy Quran for his pure soul, and prayed to God to have mercy on him and give him place in His Paradise as a reward for his sincerity, great generosity and dedication in serving his country Kuwait and its people and the humanity at large. He was known all over the world for lending a helping hand to the needy, the poor and the afflicted peoples without distinctio­n or discrimina­tion.

Visitors

All visitors to the grave, without exception praised the late Amir Sheikh Sabah for carrying on his shoulders the concerns of his people and the all humanity. He worked tirelessly shuttling between nations to support Arab causes and solve the issues of brotherly Arab and Muslim peoples. He was always keen to consecrate the stability and security of Kuwait and always remained close to the people of Kuwait.

While the citizens shed tears of grief over the departure of the symbol of goodness and peace, they said, “he will remain immortal in our hearts with his fragrant life, for his glorious deeds and his great achievemen­ts.”

MoH reshuffle: The Ministry of Health will soon carry out a major reshuffle in line with its commitment to pump new blood to improve health services, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources said the reshufflin­g decision is supposed to be announced early next week, but it was postponed due to the current circumstan­ces that the country is going through in light of the death of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah – may God have mercy on him.

Sources disclosed the reshuffle may include directors of health districts, hospitals and central department­s; stressing this step is aimed at pumping new blood to improve the quality of health services offered to the public.
