HH the Amir receives congratulations

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday received a cable of congratulations from Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad AlThani on assuming the helm of power, wishing Sheikh Nawaf success in leading the country.

In reply, Sheikh Nawaf sent a cable, expressing gratitude on the felicitations, praising relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.

Meanwhile, Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri on Friday congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah on assuming power.

In the cable, Al-Jabri prayed to Allah Almighty to help His Highness the Amir continue the path following His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the deceased of both Arab and Islamic nations.

“We pledge Your Highness to obey your directives and prioritize the country’s supreme interest,” he said.
