HH Amir lauded for taking up leadership’s sacrificing role

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3, (KUNA): General Director and Chairman of KUNA, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, on Friday congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for assuming the top position and taking the oath to shoulder responsibility of steering Kuwait toward bright future.

A statement by Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij on Friday praised His Highness the Amir for taking on the role of leadership and journey to further prosper the nations future to fulfil the dreams of “our forefathers of a modern state.”

Adding, Sheikh Mubarak AlSuaij, stated, “On this historic occasion,” the people of Kuwait stand behind their Amir and his wise leadership for a country that has given us so much, while also hoping the best for his continued journey in a position of leadership.

Meanwhile, President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, on Friday, sent a cable congratulating His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on taking the helm of power.

In the cable, Sheikh Salman wished Almighty Allah to grant His Highness the Amir continued success and progress in all fields for “our country and our honorable people.”

He continued by saying, the Late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was a wise and humane leader known around the world.
