Turkish head offers condolences
Lebanese party chief pays respects
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at the Amiri airport, Wednesday, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his accompanying delegation.
The Turkish President is in the country to offer condolences on the passing away of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He also offered condolences to the Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Meshal Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and other figures.
The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his accompanying delegation arrived in Kuwait Wednesday to offer condolences on the demise of His Highness the late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He was received at the airport by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Erdogan accompanying delegation included, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoglu, Minister of Finance and Treasury Berat Albayrak, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and senior Turkish officials.
Lebanon
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Monday received a contact from Lebanon’s Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt.
In the contact, Jumblatt offered sincere commiserations over the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, praying to Allah Almighty to have mercy upon his soul and grant him the highest status in Paradise, while bestowing solace upon his family.
His Highness the Amir voiced much thanks and appreciation to the Lebanese party leader over his sincere sentiments and heartfelt condolences.
Bangladesh
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of condolences from the President of Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul
Hamid, expressing his deepest sorrow and condolences to His Highness the Amir and the people of Kuwait over the death of the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir replied with a cable, expressing Highness’s thanks for his sincere condolences and appreciation of late His Highness Sheikh Sabah good deeds, and key role in boosting bilateral ties between both nations, wishing His Highness the Amir everlasting health and wellness.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of condolence on Wednesday from Greece President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, expressing her deepest sorrow and condolences over the death of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir replied with a cable, expressing his appreciation and gratitude over sincere condolences.

New Zealand
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a cable of condolences on Monday from New Zealand Governor-General Dame Patricia Lee Reddy, expressing her deepest sorrow and condolences over the death of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
She recalled Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad’s key role in developing relations between both countries, and his efforts in enhancing peace and stability in the Middle East.
