CSC launches intensive investigation into several decisions related to employment
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: Civil Service Commission has launched an intensive investigation into several ministerial and administrative decisions related to employment affairs in ministries and government agencies, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The daily quoting informed sources revealed that Civil Service Commission has asked supervisors in all ministries and government agencies subject to its administrative control to withdraw copies of job decisions related to supervisory positions of any kind issued since the beginning of September.
The source disclosed that the commission will follow up the sequence of those decisions to match them with the approvals issued. He said all decisions related to employment are not taken into consideration without obtaining the approval of the commission as a prior control.
He explained that “if it is proven that some decisions did not obtain the approval of the commission and had been approved by a minister or an official in the ministries and government agencies, such are considered contravention of decisions and must be withdrawn”, adding the commission will include such approvals as part of violations in the annual report.
