CSC launches in­ten­sive investigat­ion into sev­eral de­ci­sions re­lated to em­ploy­ment

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: Civil Ser­vice Com­mis­sion has launched an in­ten­sive investigat­ion into sev­eral min­is­te­rial and ad­min­is­tra­tive de­ci­sions re­lated to em­ploy­ment af­fairs in min­istries and gov­ern­ment agen­cies, re­ports Al-Seyas­sah daily.

The daily quot­ing in­formed sources re­vealed that Civil Ser­vice Com­mis­sion has asked su­per­vi­sors in all min­istries and gov­ern­ment agen­cies sub­ject to its ad­min­is­tra­tive con­trol to with­draw copies of job de­ci­sions re­lated to su­per­vi­sory po­si­tions of any kind is­sued since the be­gin­ning of Septem­ber.

The source dis­closed that the com­mis­sion will fol­low up the se­quence of those de­ci­sions to match them with the ap­provals is­sued. He said all de­ci­sions re­lated to em­ploy­ment are not taken into con­sid­er­a­tion with­out ob­tain­ing the ap­proval of the com­mis­sion as a prior con­trol.

He ex­plained that “if it is proven that some de­ci­sions did not ob­tain the ap­proval of the com­mis­sion and had been ap­proved by a min­is­ter or an of­fi­cial in the min­istries and gov­ern­ment agen­cies, such are con­sid­ered con­tra­ven­tion of de­ci­sions and must be with­drawn”, adding the com­mis­sion will in­clude such ap­provals as part of vi­o­la­tions in the an­nual re­port.
