Bahrain king wishes Kuwait well

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah received a cable from Bahrain King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifah, congratulating him on His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah’s appointment after taking the oath of office and gaining the Parliament’s pledge of allegiance.

The Bahraini King wished Their Highnesses the Amir and Crown Prince success, and Kuwait, growth and development under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah.

In response, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf sent a cable, expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the warm gesture.

Meanwhile , His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable from Bahrain Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifah, congratulating him on His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s appointment after taking the oath of office and gaining the parliament’s pledge of allegiance.

In response, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf sent a cable, expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the kind words.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable from Bahrain Prime Minister Prince Khalifah bin Salman Al-Khalifah, congratulating him on His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s appointment after taking the oath of office and gaining the Parliament’s pledge of allegiance.

In response, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable, expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the kind sentiments.

Sri Lanka

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday a cable of congratulations from Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, in which he congratulated him on the occasion of assuming power, wishing His Highness the Amir a continued success.

His Highness the Amir sent a cable back, in which he thanked and appreciated the positive message, embracing close ties between Kuwait and Sri Lanka, wishing him good health and happiness.

Duke of Luxembourg

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, Tuesday, a cable from Henri, the Duke of Luxembourg, congratulating His Highness on ascension to power.

The Duke expressed hopes of continuing the strong relations between Kuwait and Luxembourg in the cable.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf sent a reply cable to the Duke of Luxembourg, thanking him for his sincere wishes and sentiments.
