Hawally Courts Complex ‘set’ to serve litigants, says MPW
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 17: The Ministry of Public Works says a technical committee will be formed soon for the opening of Hawalli Courts Complex, which was visited by Minister of Public Works (MPW) and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Dr Rana Al-Faris and Minister of Justice Dr Nawaf AlYaseen last Wednesday to see the completion of the building.
Informed MPW sources said the complex is ready for delivery. All works in the building have been completed but is awaiting approval of all government institutions to declare it ready for ‘business’ especially the approval of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD. All systems have been completed, including air conditioning, elevators and others.
The sources indicated the committee will comprise members from the Ministry of Public Works as an implementing and supervising authority for the establishment of the project and the Ministry of Justice as a beneficiary. The committee will, in turn, review all works, approvals and procedures for the project and ensure that it is completely ready from all technical and engineering aspects.
The sources mentioned this project comes within the services provided by the Ministry of Public Works to ministries and government agencies, including the Ministry of Justice, considering that the judiciary is a safety valve for all, and of course the buildings have a fundamental role in the process of judicial expansion and the number of courts, according to what was included in the development plan in the country.
The sources added, the Hawalli Courts Complex project uses the latest technologies and state-of-the-art equipped using latest technological means to provide all litigation services as quickly as possible with easy access to all services to serve the citizens.
