Meetings regarding private nurseries ongoing
Move to identify the special needs of portal
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development at the Ministry of Social Affairs Hana Al-Hajri revealed that the ministry holds meetings regarding private nurseries with all licensing authorities to coordinate on the online portal, reports Al-Anba daily.
In a press statement, Al-Hajri explained that the aim of these meetings is to identify the special needs of the portal, and to emphasize the importance of linking bodies electronically, especially with regard to communications with the Department for Supervision of Private Nurseries in order to facilitate the citizens, as well as to unify the mechanisms and discuss the difficulties each party faces and to support special proposals for developing work in individual field and specialization.
Meetings are held with the Public Authority for the Disabled Affairs (PADA) to coordinate matters pertaining to nurseries for children with disabilities and to study the possibility of re-working with the Ministry of Health.
Al-Hajri revealed that a meeting will be held soon by PADA with the Ministry of Health to discuss the conditions of nurseries and determine what it will be implemented in the future.
She affirmed that the concerned department continues to automatically archive data related to nurseries, adding that the number of nurseries whose data have been updated and archived has reached 277, and work in this regard continues.
