HH Crown Prince congratulates newly-appointed PM

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25, (KUNA): His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulated on Sunday His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on being elected as the Prime Minister,

with the latter being tasked by His Highness the Amir to assemble a new cabinet. “I offer warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled on winning back the trust of His Highness the Amir,” His Highness the Crown Prince said in a cable sent to Kuwait’s new Prime Minister, wishing him “every success” on achieving national goals of development and prosperity to the country.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued a decree naming His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled as Kuwait’s Prime Minister, where he will now be responsible to form a new cabinet lineup.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable on Monday to the Governor-General of Australia General David Hurley, congratulating him on his country’s National Day. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables.
